Check-Ins: In light of our upcoming Opening Space for the Radical Imagination II, what does radical imagination mean for you?

Potential EC training: Erin has asked CARDV about providing the EC and our staff with a training on how to provide a trauma-informed response to folx in crisis. Erin met with CARDV to explain the nature of our work, and they seemed enthusiastic about getting involved! If folx are interested, CARDV has offered to come to an EC meeting (Tues 5-7pm is good for them) to provide the training (2hrs) in April or May. EC supported.

Proposal to Co-sponsor May Day Event: We were asked by the local IWW whether we’d like to be a sponsor on their upcoming May Day celebration. They’ll calling for a potluck and dinner where they’ll be watching This Is What Democracy Looks Like at Westminster on May 1 at 7pm. Sponsorship simply means we’ll agree to co-host it on our FB page. EC supported.

Union Summer: Not necessary to talk about in detail now, but wanted to float a rough idea about a week-long summer “teach-in” series we could hold on union organizing for the broader Corvallis community in late July. EC supported.
